Hay paraguas que cruzan los mares para conocer otras manos, otros paraguas; otras culturas, otras lluvias; paraguas en busca de un sueño… There are umbrellas who cross the oceans to meet other hands, other umbrellas, other cultures, other rains; umbrellas working and looking for a dream…

Embarcado como estaba en la búsqueda de respuestas, de un modo un tanto impertinente por mi parte; rayando casi lo descortés, - lo reconozco -, por casualidad, di con una inscripción que rezaba “made in Taiwan”, pero made in, hecho en, es sólo eso; hecho en. Hay paraguas que vienen de muy lejos; con visa o sin ella, pero eso no quiere decir que uno sea mejor que otro, que la calidad como paraguas del uno supere la del otro. A menudo; sucede que el lugar de nacimiento de una persona condiciona su esperanza de vida. A priori la longevidad estimada para alguien que nace en cualquier país europeo, de ese antiguo Continente Antiguo, es bastante mayor que la de una persona que nace el mismo día, a la misma hora, el mismo minuto y el mismo segundo en Haití (Cuerno de África) o el Congo, por el mero hecho de que las diferencias económicas entre el Norte y el Sur también se traducen en diferentes expectativas de vida - al decir diferencias económicas quiero decir que uno explota, se sirve de la riqueza material y paragüil de(l) otro, y otro es explotado; que uno abusa y del otro se abusa; - queda para el lector adivinar cuál es cuál -.
