El mango de madera, muy noble, de una sola pieza, ya cubierto de corteza, presentaba un buen estado aunque; eso sí, la parte inferior se veía algo más lustrosa, desgastada por el uso, por ese ir y venir de la mano al mismo lugar, por la repetición de un mismo gesto lluvia tras otra. The wood handle; very noble, was made of in one only piece, completely covered by the bark time, it seemed to me being in good condition, – still keeping in fit -, even though the low part was more glossy, a little bit worn out by the use, by that going and coming by the same hand to the same place; by the repetition of the same gesture rain after rain.

La montura era una de ésas de aire clásico, tallada a mano, con la caña redonda terminada en curva para facilitar su empuñadura, para hacerlo más llevadero, – literalmente hablando – más fácil de llevar – si se quiere -, cómoda, ligera, fácil de asir y porosa; cálida al tacto de la piel, a los ojos del tocar y también al de la vista, a los ojos del ver. The mount was one of these with a classic look, shaped by hand, with a rounded stem finished in curve in order to facilitate its handling; to make it easier to wear, - literally speaking on -, handy, if one prefers; comfortable, light, easy to hold and porous, warm to one´s skin touch, to the touching eyes and also to the sense of the sight, to the looking eyes.
